THE ENGINEER BEHIND THE RECORD
Production, Mixing, Mastering,
Sound Design, Tools, and Education Based in Colorado Springs.
He came up in Chicago's Wicker Park, spending over a decade working with vocalists, producers, and bands, mixing and mastering hundreds of tracks across Electronic, Rap, R&B, Pop, Rock, and Metal. Fourteen years of mixing taught him to hear what's wrong in a fraction of a second.
Since 2016, he has taught production and audio engineering while building tools for other creators: sample packs released through Splice, production templates, preset packs, and Ableton racks. He founded the producers and audio engineering club at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where he is now pursuing a Bachelor of Innovation in Music. He holds an Associate of Arts from Pueblo Community College, where he graduated summa cum laude with President's List honors every semester. He is a Phi Theta Kappa Golden Opportunity Scholar.
Currently, Ryker is producing his debut electronic album, mixing and mastering for film and television composers, developing his first Max for Live device, and preparing to return to the DJ booth for the first time in ten years.
Background
"I approach every project in service of the artist's vision.
The work begins with understanding."
I am a music producer, audio engineer, and sound designer. I specialize in mixing and mastering as well as creating sound for games and interactive media.
In the studio, my role is part engineer, part mediator. I find the balance where every element of a record coexists with clarity and purpose. My process blends analog hardware with digital tools to shape tone, energy, and loudness without sacrificing the life in the music.
I work with vocalists, instrumentalists, producers, and bands across Electronic, Rap, R&B, Pop, Rock, and Metal. I also collaborate with developers and creative teams in games and interactive media. I have spent ten years teaching production, mixing, and mastering, and I currently lead a producers and audio engineering club at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
Whether I am in a session, building a sonic world for a game, or in a classroom, my goal is the same: audio that feels as intentional as it sounds. The smallest details carry the most weight, and I treat every one of them like it matters.

WHAT I BRING
I use a hybrid approach to shape tone, energy, and loudness without taking the life out of your music.
Hundreds of sessions taught me to hear every nuance and understand exactly how to get the best out of your music.
Every decision starts with understanding. My preferences do not enter the room until yours are clear.
I teach what I am actively doing. Every lesson and every session comes from current, real-world work, not a textbook.
Fourteen years of sessions. A decade of teaching. Tools built from real work.
In the fall of 2024, I founded the producers and audio engineering club at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
The goal was simple: give students a space to learn by doing, collaborate across disciplines, and build real skills before they leave school
We work on actual projects. We discuss real tools, real sessions, and real problems. No theory without application.
Producers and Engineers Club
GIVING BACK TO THE CRAFT
The best thing a modern musician can do is bring others up with them. No secrets kept. No trust betrayed.
One On One Education
I have been teaching Production, Mixing, and Mastering since 2016. My approach is hands-on and direct.
I work with producers and engineers who are serious about improving and want to learn from someone still actively doing the work.
Good enough isn't good enough.
If you feel the same way, we'll get along just fine. Let's talk about your project!
